DICKIES

Born in 1922 from its workwear roots as a saloon company under the name Williamson- Dickies MFG. Co. Since then it has grown to become the world's largest workwear manufacturing company. Skaters in the 80's and 90's knowing they needed tough fabrics and garments chose Dickies which could provide them with skateboarding pants that would be resistant to scratches and tears from concrete , beams and asphalt.

In the 90's Julien Stranger, the Anti-Hero group and the SF Based skaters started wearing Dickies making the brand cool since they skated with it somehow starting Dickies influence on the streetwear community. And that's how Dickies grew into a prominent name in streetwear and skate culture.
